photography

my photography journey began years ago when my grandpa took me on a fishing trip. he had been a well established photographer for a few years to that point and he told me a story of when a national geographic photographer took him to alaska to shoot polar bears. the actual story behind their camping and waiting for hours was lost in the caverns of my A.D.D but the photos he showed me changed how i look at life. since then i always had a budding interest in taking stills but never took it seriously until the summer of 2017. i brought my camera on a trip with me and just shot the city i was in and i’ve never looked back. i am a self taught photographer and since that time i have been hired to shoot weddings, models, musicians, products and teach photography to others curious to learn the craft. although my schooling was in video work, photography has really taken my heart and has opened my eyes into a new world where i can spend hours on hours editing a single photo trying to perfect my craft. i try to update my website as much as i can but am much more active on instagram (@niztalifa) if you’d like to take a look at my work there!
